DOHS
noun - [Daws]
Ravenous hunger experienced 24 - 72 hours after completing a massive run. Often used as a license to eat an unrestricted amount of "recover" food.
Ego Mile
noun - [ē - gō - mīl]
Extra meters run back and forth at the end of a run to get your distance to round up to the next km/mile. 1 ego mile = 100 meters.
Stravel
verb - [stra - vel]
When you GPS goes renegade, and creates a special, magic, straight line journey on your Strava activity upload route.
Stravsturbate
verb - [strav - stur - bāt]
The act of uploading a really good run to Strava then going back and looking at it again, and again, and again.....
Taper Tantrum
verb - [tay - pur Tan - trum]
An irrational outburst resulting from the belief that you should be running during your taper.
Small Shoe Energy
adjective - [smol - shoo En - err - jee]
What someone is projecting when they temporarily speed up as you catch them, forcing an awkwardly difficult pass. Commonly experienced on vertical single track.
