The Thanksgiving weekend Turkey Trot is a running community tradition! 

It's a great way to start off this wonderful holiday and feel just fine about going back for seconds at the dinner table. Enjoy some fresh air while you take on a physical challenge and connect with the community at these running events. You will have an extra bounce in your step when you return home and spend quality time with friends and family watching football and feasting on delicious turkey, stuffing, cranberries and more.

Trails to Hope Turkey Trot

Get ready to trot around the woods and get those miles in! A 5k course and a 10k course is offered all on trails! The 10k course will complete 2 loops of the 5k course. A 3 hour solo and 3 hour team(relay style) event are also available. For this event, the goal is to complete as many loops in the 3 hour time limit. TEAMS of 2 signup together and race relay style! Included in your entry fee is a long sleeve shirt, post race snack, and hand made wooden finisher medal, along with an amazing time running with friends in the woods.

Turkey TRAIL Trot

All distances are on wide and single track 100% DIRT trails. THIS IS NOT A ROAD RACE… The trails do include… LEAVES, ROCKS and ROOTS, so it is important to pay attention to your footing. It will also have many rolling to steep hills that will challenge you along the way. NOTE: = 3.5 Hour Time Limit for all distances. 🙂

Strategic Staffing Solutions Turkey Trot

The S3 Turkey Trot has been a tradition in Detroit for over 40 years! Much more than a variety of races (10k/5k/1 mile and combo events), thousands of participants dress in costumes for the event. Often declared “The Parade before The Parade”, participants frolic by the largest spectator crowd in Michigan. Truly an awesome way to start Thanksgiving Day!

Ann Arbor Turkey Trot
