Join the annual PeaceHealth Appletree Boston-qualifying Marathon, Half Marathon, and Sunset 5K. All first responders - military, peace officers, health professionals, firefighters - can also compete in the first responders marathon relay designed to feature and honor those serving our community.
This “Run Through History” will take you on a flat, fast and scenic course through Fort Vancouver, Officer’s Row, the Army Barracks, Pearson Airport (the oldest operating airport in the USA), the Historical Old Apple Tree, along the majestic Columbia River and many other historical vantage points. There’s so much to see that the miles will fly by!

Run Rose City's signature premier running event with a marathon, half marathon, and 10K, happening in October, 2025.
Enjoy a course with gorgeous views of Portland's waterfront, several bridge crossings, and a full tour of some of the city's most iconic landmarks!
Runners will score free race photos and highlight videos, event and sponsor swag - including race medals and event shirt, plus food and drinks at the Finish Line Festival, including a complimentary, Oregon-brewed beer (runners 21+ only).
