Shuttleversary 5k
Race Information
Coinciding with the Annual Cocoa Beach Triathlon, this run commemorates the anniversary of the Space Shuttle Columbia's April 12, 1981, launch and takes place along the cart path and on the hard-packed fairways of the Cocoa Beach Golf Course.
Runners will be greeted with beautiful vistas and sweeping views of the Banana River and birdlife before crossing the same finish line as the triathletes, who will pass through just minutes later. All finishers will receive an official event shirt and a striking medal based on NASA’s original Space Shuttle program logo. The field will be limited to just 200 runners.
