Race Information

NYRR Open Run is a series of free weekly runs and walks in your home park. This program is in collaboration with NYC Parks' Community Parks Initiative and is presented by New York Road Runners, whose mission is to help and inspire people through running.

Brooklyn Bridge Park features volleyball (Pier 6), soccer (Pier 5), and basketball (Pier 2). The Open Run route offers views of the Brooklyn Bridge on the way out, the Statue of Liberty on the way back, and the Lower Manhattan skyline the whole way. Fornino is a great spot to get drinks and pizza after the run.
