The annual Day of the Dead 5K also has art, food, music, dancing, and a free Trophy beer as part of the celebration. As usual, the race course goes through Oakwood cemetery and loops back to Wilmington St. There will be two altars where people can offer flowers and written messages in memory of their loved ones. There will be an art corner for the kids, face painting, the best prizes from local businesses for top runners and best costumes, and the famous dance-off costume contest.
