The McGrath Launceston Running Festival is one of Tasmania's premier running events and features a half marathon, 10km, 5km and 1-mile run and walk for all ages and ambitions. The half marathon starts at Riverbend Park and finishes on Doyne Street. The race also features an Expo, entertainment, and food and beverages from local producers. The event attracts not only the best local and national athletes but many international athletes throughout the years.
Epic Events and Marketing, the organizer of the event, is a Tasmanian business specializing in mass participation sports events.
