This race raises money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and The Cure Starts Now. Both these organizations fund research into the deadliest form of childhood cancer: Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). This race is held in honor of Ella Newmiller, daughter of a Raleigh family, who sadly passed away in 2012 from this awful disease. This race has raised $370,000 for these 2 foundations. Calling all running enthusiast, fun runners and everything in-between to join in supporting this cause. 100% of your sponsorship goes to The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation or The Cure Starts Now in honor of Ella Newmiller.
