Race Information

TriCord Ranch Foundation annual TriCord Ruck & Run brings awareness and support to Oklahomans whose lives have been effected by trauma and PTSD. All funds raised at that day go directly to provide life-changing services for military personnel, veterans, first responders, at-risk youth, young first offenders and their families who reside in Oklahoma.

The TriCord Ruck & Run has a timed ruck and timed run options for a half marathon, 10K, and 5K, with untimed options for those just looking to get out. There is a 1-mile Fun Ruck. All ages, speeds, and experience levels are welcome. The course is the Draper Point West Lookout trail at Stanley Draper Lake in Oklahoma City. This race offers a rural setting, unique medals for top finishers, T-shirts and ruck patches for all participants, and a great community event for all ages.

This boot-camp-inspired walk/run follows the moderately challenging trail on the west access "road" that borders the edge of Lake Draper. The dirt trail is mostly shaded and travels through a forested area with possible water challenges on parts of the trail depending on weather conditions.
