The Wild Run
Video
Race Information
This is Calgary's only zoo run! Run or walk a 10-mile event solo or as part of a team or a solo 4k and enjoy exploring the zoo after you complete your event.
The Wild Run, formerly the 'Gorilla Run', was established by Calgary runner and primate enthusiast Emm Kytryk in 2004 to raise funds for Mountain Gorillas. Run Calgary took over the event to continue its legacy and conservation efforts in 2015. Through this race, participants help preserve the habitat of wild animals threatened with extinction.
