The Annual Thanks for the Trails 5k and Kids Fun Run happens on the Saturday after Thanksgiving at Patton Park in Hamilton. Using a scenic and challenging course and offering great prizes, this will be an event for all! Super prizes for top finishers and a Boston Marathon Entry will be given away as a lucky number prize, be sure to enter during registration!
The race is a fundraiser for ECTA, a non-profit dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of open trails throughout six towns in Essex County, Massachusetts for the purpose of passive recreation and for the benefit of the public. ECTA works with landowners, conservation organizations, town officials, and trail users to ensure that access to natural places and open spaces remains a part of Essex County's rich heritage.
