Mayor's Turkey Day Run
Race Information
The Kenosha Mayor’s Turkey Day Run began in 1906 as a Thanksgiving Day morning tradition, although it was not always held annually and was stopped in the early 1950s. The current iteration came to life in 1978 thanks to the efforts of the Kenosha Running Club. Since then it has been an annual event that has grown over the years into a venerated event that draws nearly three thousand runners through good weather and bad. The beautiful 10k and 2-mile courses run along the Kenosha lakefront on city streets, bike paths, and through parks.
