Lyndon Ellefson Memorial Run
Race Information
The Lyndon Ellefson Memorial Run has been held annually in memory of Barron native Lyndon Ellefson. Lyndon died July 10, 1998, after falling into a deep crevasse in the Italian Alps while training for the Skyrunning World Championships. All proceeds from the run benefit the Barron Area Community Center.
There are two great options for running the Lyndon Ellefson Memorial 5K race. You can complete the run in person which features a 5K trail course through Rockman's Woods. The virtual option allows you to complete your favorite 5K run virtually with family and friends (anyone 18 and under is half-price!). All participants will receive a t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a goodie bag.
