The Minocqua Northwoods Escape Marathon is a flat and fast Boston Marathon Qualifier course.
The marathon course is run on the Bearskin/Hiawatha trails beginning near Billy Bob's Sports Bar on County Road L near Tomahawk and finishing on the trestle in Minocqua. The course is certified for the Boston Marathon (WI21023DM) by an authorized Boston Marathon certifying agency. The race will start with a gun start so everyone has the same starting time. The half marathon starts near the intersection of Lakewood Rd and the Bearskin Trail. The 5K starts near Torpy Park in downtown Mincoqua and runs a loop around the lake finishing on the bearskin at the trestle.
