The Chopper
Race Information
The Chopper is held at Chopwell Woodland Park, a 360-hectare mixed woodland with miles of woodland trails and old railway tracks. The trails zigzag through the woodland, offering glimpses of the area’s industrial past and local wildlife, making it popular with walkers and cyclists.
Each loop is 4.3 miles long with an elevation gain of about 500 feet. Winners are chosen based on the distance covered in the 6hr or 12 hr category.
The event offers timing, feed stations, marked and marshalled tracks, and event mugs to all participants.
