The Wisconsin Society Daughters of the American Revolution is sponsoring an Old Military Road 5k Run/Walk in Portage, Wis. The event will take place on the scenic Wisconsin River Levee Trail, starting and ending at Riverside Park, 300 E. Wisconsin St. A virtual 5k option is also available. Proceeds will benefit the Fort Winnebago Surgeons Quarters historic site.
Run Pick of the Month - Bellin Women's Half Marathon & 5K
This women-focused 5k and half marathon happens in October.
Expect a scenic, urban course. We like the half marathon relay option that lets you run 13.1 as a team of two!
This run typically draws over 1,500 participants. The course is very spectator friendly (so bring your cheer squad).
