Known to be the oldest consecutively run footrace in the WORLD, the YMCA Turkey Trot is an 8K road race that attracts trotters of all ages and abilities to the city of Buffalo, NY each year.
With a field of over 10,000, the YMCA Turkey Trot is a beloved Thanksgiving Day tradition filled with community spirit and goodwill. Proceeds raised through this event help fund the YMCA’s important work to empower youth, ensure health equity, and provide support to the community’s most vulnerable.
