The Dark Castle is an exciting night trail running event in Dorset. The event starts from the iconic Corfe Castle so this is a great chance to check out the ruins up close.
From the stone bridge on the short course, you will head down through the beautiful village of Corfe towards the quaint village of Church Knowle. The ridge at Knowle Hill rewards you with sweeping views across Purbeck with the lights of Poole Harbour in the distance and the glow of Corfe Castle to your right.
The middle and long routes continue along the ridge to Stone Hill Down, before winding through towards the famous Blue Poole. The muddy and tight single tracks make the Darkness feel exhilarating.
